Lee engaged our services to help him develop a number of new brands and prepare a cohesive marketing strategy. Our challenge was to ensure that these new initiatives reach the right audience in the most cost effective manner and generate that all important revenue as quickly as possible.

City Spirit St Paul’s is one of Birmingham’s premier serviced office providers. Based in central Birmingham, the company offers a wide variety of fabulous offices, a virtual office service, meeting room facilities and an exclusive gym. The company prides itself on its customer centric ethos and flexible approach to business.
The company was already very proactive with its marketing but was looking for a fresh perspective. We worked closely with City Spirit to gain a thorough understanding of their market. We have developed a number of recommendations, including introducing some highly targeted marketing campaigns and suggesting the launch of some new services.
We have now built a strong relationship with City Spirit St Paul’s and continue to adapt to the changing needs of their business in these challenging times. Our PR programme is proving very successful, our direct campaigns are well underway and we are working to launch the new services that we suggested. HR Caddy provides a HR Consultancy service to growing businesses. The company benefits from the extensive experience of its key team and a friendly, professional approach to HR, combined with genuine jest and enthusiasm.
Having recently identified that the company needed a new direction, HR Caddy engaged our services to help them develop a new brand and a twelve month marketing strategy.
We spent time with HR Caddy to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and then developed a brand new logo, website (see www.hrcaddy.co.uk), email template, stationery and promotional flyers. We also prepared a full mix twelve month marketing strategy, purchased data and prepared a marketing letter.
The result was a complete set of marketing tools ready for HR Caddy to use themselves whilst still benefiting from the knowledge that we’re here to offer support should they require it.
dicey diaries
Dicey Diaries is a start up business. The company offers a unique combination of a diary, organiser and online tool designed to help organise any business professional. As a start up venture Dicey had a requirement to launch the brand in the most cost effective way possible.
We worked hard to simplify the Dicey Diary message and offered our advice on a wide variety of considerations associated with bringing this brand new product to market. The result was an entire brand (see www.diceydiaries.co.uk) and marketing strategy that enabled Dicey Diaries to launch. We also provided a number of additional specific marketing tools and are now supporting the company as they begin to promote the product.

PCS (Professional Computer Solutions) is a leading Microsoft partner. The company,
based in Curdworth, West Midlands, specialises in the provision of tailored Financial
and Manufacturing software solutions. They also deliver expert advice and support
on all aspects of IT, helping companies benefit from improved efficiencies.
PCS recognised the need to build on their existing marketing efforts. They invited
a number of parties to bid for the project but selected Sterling because of our
realistic approach and extensive understanding of this specialist sector.
We have worked hard to become an extension to the main PCS team. Having initially
‘hit the ground running’ we quickly slotted in to the company and gained a thorough
understanding of their needs.
Working closely with the management team, we are now delivering the entire marketing
strategy on PCS’s behalf. This full mix strategy has been carefully devised to ensure
that the complexity of the PCS offering is managed in the simplest possible way.
Our goal is to ensure that their investment in marketing demonstrates a quick return

We have worked with The Band of the West Midlands Fire Service for the past two
years and as their marketing advisers have implemented The Band's first strategic
marketing strategy in its 23 year history.
Working with a tight budget we have introduced an identity, corporate branding,
flyers, adverts, imagery for use at concerts and promotional materials.
We have also been able to secure radio 'appearances' and prestigious events, as
well as bringing in new members and helping to improve internal communications.
In a short period of time Clare has managed to
make great strides with regard marketing activity for The Band. She has worked on
a strategic level, initiating and implementing a particularly ambitious but successful
marketing plan.

tamworth football club
Tamworth Football Club are looking to the future and recognised that a marketing
consultancy, such as Sterling, could help them increase attendance, raise their
profile and importantly generate more revenue.
After gaining a thorough understanding of their requirements, we prepared an 18
month marketing strategy, which is now being implemented.
Working alongside the Commercial Manager and General Manager, we have delivered
new material and managed marketing campaigns with key focus on increasing awareness

Mayflower Solicitors was launched in July 2008. Its Principal and founder approached
Sterling before the company had even begun trading because he recognised the importance
of introducing a proactive marketing strategy to help his business succeed from
day one.
We invested time with Jimmy to gain a real understanding of his unique, inspiring
approach to commercial law. In under a month we had developed a brand, launched
a website and devised a twelve month strategy, all designed to work with a tight
budget and ambitious objectives.
We have developed a strong, ongoing relationship with Mayflower Solicitors and continue
to deliver the strategy. Most importantly, we have already generated a number of

The Business Development Service works in conjunction with Business Link to provide
support and advice to local start-up businesses. The company also supports funding
projects for major contracts in the West Midlands.
We have worked with BDS for the past two years, in a training and consultancy capacity.
Working as part of the BDS team, we deliver marketing workshops and one to one advice
for their clients. It is tremendously satisfying to continually meet and help those
brave individuals determined to make their new business venture succeed.

We met Prizm Solutions when the company was still under a year old. Prizm was launched
to provide a full range of commercial insurance policies for growing businesses.
The company prides itself on its transparent, ethical approach to business and a
friendly, professional service.
Prizm engaged Sterling to help them grow and raise their profile. We developed a
full marketing strategy and helped them deliver it, managing all aspects on their
behalf but working closely with them at all times.
We even suggested that they enter for a major business award in the ‘Small Business
